Happy pumpkin day!

The weather took a turn but the fun and learning didn’t. We explored the Collabratory to check out the new edition, capered with our friends, and carved our pumpkin turning into a jack-o-lantern named Three Three. Our “bucket filling” celebration was today and we enjoyed our special dress up and a special video during snack. Have a fun and safe evening if you’re out and about! See you next month ;)

Happy Wednesday!

Today was super fun not only with Ms.Amy, but we had a special visitor on the playscape…an orange cat!

Is it still summer?!

We had the best day learning and playing outside with our Dogwood and Magnolia friends at the top of the forest. A reminder that the PAT fundraiser is happening in the front lobby through the end of the week! Also happening this week, PJ day/Halloween themed shirt on Thursday Oct 31st (no costumes).

Retelling the story The Runaway Pumpkin

Happy Monday

Welcome back Pine friends! It is sure to be a fun week of extended summer like weather. This week we will continue to focus on the word TURN with fun ways to practice. Our centers explore movement, light and shadows, and some creepy crawlies. Thursday we plan to have some extra special fun exploring pumpkins! We have worked very hard filling our bucket and have earned a celebration!! (If you aren’t familiar with the book fill a bucket  by Carol McCloud and Katherine Martin, we read it and have been working very hard together to fill our classroom bucket using kindness) To celebrate, you are invited to wear Halloween themed pjs or your favorite spooky shirt on Thursday October 31st! (Please no costumes)
