Capers

The Pine kids participated in their first capers of the year. Capering is when a few classrooms get together and share their spaces and materials. Today, Pine joined up with Magnolia and Dogwood to play outside and cool off inside between Dogwood & Pine's room. In addition to all of the running, building, and collaborating, the kids found a cicada! Good times all around!

"They are all in line to get some food."

"It's a ramp for the cars. They are going down."

"It's the train and tracks!"

"I got the rocks."

"The swing on the tree!"

Day 2 Pine Room Fun!

For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.

Today was “the most amazing day” according to one friend! Thanks to PAT for leaving the glow party up for us! We also started working on a project that combines letters and numbers, it’s called a graph.

Not a Box!

Good  morning! Today, Ms. Kim is going to show you what she did with a box she found at home. She demonstrates using the core words and even has a special guest to help her with the video. Have you figured out what to do with a box you have at your house? What did you make? What can you make?  We are loving all of the different things some of you have made out of boxes! Keep those creative ideas flowing!!
