Self Regulation

The Pine friends continued to work on their ability to stop and go! We played several rounds of red light/green light in the collaboratory by walking, crawling, hopping, and running. Before starting our games involving stop and go we read a book featuring the words (Go! Go! Go! Stop!). We also headed outside to enjoy the surprisingly cooler weather! The slide was a huge hit and gave us one more opportunity to use "go" and "stop."

"Red means stop!"

"Go, go, go!"

"Look at me, I am going down."

"A"

Day 2 Pine Room Fun!

For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.

Today was “the most amazing day” according to one friend! Thanks to PAT for leaving the glow party up for us! We also started working on a project that combines letters and numbers, it’s called a graph.

Not a Box!

Good  morning! Today, Ms. Kim is going to show you what she did with a box she found at home. She demonstrates using the core words and even has a special guest to help her with the video. Have you figured out what to do with a box you have at your house? What did you make? What can you make?  We are loving all of the different things some of you have made out of boxes! Keep those creative ideas flowing!!
