The forest is full of a lot of different trees, logs, and branches to climb across. Today, W found one particularly appealing tree to climb. As he worked his way towards a branch, he was quick to realize that where he wanted to go on the branch would take some coordination.
Without hesitation, W began readjusting his approach to walk across the narrow branch. He continuously checked his surroundings and tested his footing.
After a few trials, W successfully found a way to get across the branch without relying on any overhead stabilizers. He carefully wiggled his body across the branch and reached a resting point.
"In the tree! It's apple tree."
W pulled himself up and was quite pleased with himself as he stood above his peers looking out across the forest.
It was evident that many other friends were also interested in trying this same impressive feat soon after William made it across.
"Look! There's bears in this tree. He's over there."
"I'm so tall! Look! I did it."
W was determined to make it across the narrow branch. He was also incredibly independent and would only look for support rather than help when trying to navigate the balance beam. He inspired others to move across the beam with confidence and by doing so gave friends a new way to play at the forest.
