Surveying

B set out onto the playscape with one goal in mind, survey the plants around the property. He went straight to the far fence and noticed the rose bushes growing on the opposite side.

B walked up and down the fence a few times looking through the holes and spaces between the structure. He began running his fingers along the bumpy divider and giggled along the way.

B decided after a few passes by the fence that he wanted to check out other parts of the playscape. He would gaze through the leaves looking at the movement from the wind and the sun coming through the branches.

B walked down to the garden and began looking at the different herbs growing. He noticed the large sunflower dragging on the ground and giggled before stepping over it. B then went behind some trees to look a little closer.

Once again, B stared through the leaves and the trees. It had me wondering what was so intriguing about the plants. Was it the breeze creating movement within the leaves? Or was it the sun catching the color of the leaves just right? B quietly walked off to his next destination into the garden.

B made a few loops between the shed and the fence on the far side of the garden. He climbed over obstacles in his way and even had a few friends following his lead.

B finished his surveying by looking at the corn in the garden. He stopped for only a minute to see the plants looking down on him. Before I knew it, he was headed towards the slide to for one final pass before heading inside.

Not a Box!

Good  morning! Today, Ms. Kim is going to show you what she did with a box she found at home. She demonstrates using the core words and even has a special guest to help her with the video. Have you figured out what to do with a box you have at your house? What did you make? What can you make?  We are loving all of the different things some of you have made out of boxes! Keep those creative ideas flowing!!
