Capers

Another happy Thursday full of all kinds of different activities with Magnolia and Dogwood.

M & S were especially happy to see book making in the Magnolia room! With markers and paper in hand they went to town on being illustrators and authors.

W found some peaceful time playing with slime the kids from Dogwood made. She enjoyed rolling it around on the board, creating patterns with gems, and watching it drip between her fingers.

F had a good time painting without being able to touch the brush! It was challenging and exciting to watch the paint get on the paper the conventional way.

There were a lot of exciting choices and opportunities today for the kids. Have a great weekend!

Day 2 Pine Room Fun!

For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.

Today was “the most amazing day” according to one friend! Thanks to PAT for leaving the glow party up for us! We also started working on a project that combines letters and numbers, it’s called a graph.

Not a Box!

Good  morning! Today, Ms. Kim is going to show you what she did with a box she found at home. She demonstrates using the core words and even has a special guest to help her with the video. Have you figured out what to do with a box you have at your house? What did you make? What can you make?  We are loving all of the different things some of you have made out of boxes! Keep those creative ideas flowing!!
