Fast or Slow?

This afternoon the Pine kids were noticing how food coloring drifted through the water. Some kids saw how it moved quickly and spreading almost immediately, while others saw how it stayed in a clump and twirled slowly around.

"I think it does it because it is blue and the water is hot!"
"Maybe the cold water makes it go slow."
"I think the green will go the fastest!"
"It is twirling around so much!"
"Look, it's making a rainbow!"

There were so many different predictions being made about the food coloring in the water, it was hard to keep up!

Day 2 Pine Room Fun!

For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.

Today was “the most amazing day” according to one friend! Thanks to PAT for leaving the glow party up for us! We also started working on a project that combines letters and numbers, it’s called a graph.

Not a Box!

Good  morning! Today, Ms. Kim is going to show you what she did with a box she found at home. She demonstrates using the core words and even has a special guest to help her with the video. Have you figured out what to do with a box you have at your house? What did you make? What can you make?  We are loving all of the different things some of you have made out of boxes! Keep those creative ideas flowing!!
