Last Day

Good morning and happy last day of school!

I cannot believe it is already the last day of school already. This year has gone by so fast! Although the last couple of months have been tough for a number of reasons, I am so grateful to have ways in which we were all able to stay connected. We miss everyone, SO much! It was so good to see all of you who were able to make it to the Pickup Parade yesterday, so many of you have grown so much!

Typically on one of our last days of school we have a water day, one of the most fun days of the year! The Ambrose teachers put together a video of how we spent our time playing in the water.

I cannot wait to see you all during our last class ZOOM call of the year! Grab some blankets and pillows and create a fort! See you all so soon!

Day 2 Pine Room Fun!

For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.

Because S spends the beginning of her day in another classroom, she was already familiar with a coveted branch that hung low enough for the kids to try and swing on.  "There's a tree swing at the forest, we should all do it!" S, who seemed to display a high level of confidence, took a hold of the branch as R handed it to her. She took a deep breath and jumped off the log.  S swung with grace over the ground.  The others watched in awe and quickly lined up to take turns.  Each friend took a different approach and not always quite sure on how to get the same kind of lift and swing S did. W seemed unsure on the whole activity, but was willing to try. He couldn't quite get the desired swinging motion and lost interest after his first try.  L saw how the others were swinging and although a little scared, decided to try several times in a row be...
