Persistence & Encouragement

We did it! We made it through our first week at school for the new year. Way to go, boys! Today we ended our week by soaking up the sun and playing on the hillside. As soon as the gate opened, both boys dashed down to the slack line. L was ready to play while J waited.

In the videos below you can see how both boys try and keep trying to independently walk along the tightrope. As one walked, the other cheered. It was so refreshing and joyful as both boys took their turns.

Have such a great weekend! We will see you Tuesday for a brand new week 😊

Day 2 Pine Room Fun!

For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.

Today was “the most amazing day” according to one friend! Thanks to PAT for leaving the glow party up for us! We also started working on a project that combines letters and numbers, it’s called a graph.

Not a Box!

Good  morning! Today, Ms. Kim is going to show you what she did with a box she found at home. She demonstrates using the core words and even has a special guest to help her with the video. Have you figured out what to do with a box you have at your house? What did you make? What can you make?  We are loving all of the different things some of you have made out of boxes! Keep those creative ideas flowing!!
