Musical Forest

We got a special treat at the forest today! While playing among the trees, Mr. James walked up with a strangely shaped container.

"What's that?" L asked.

Mr. James put the case down and opened it up. The kids watched as he revealed a guitar!

"It's a guitar!"

Everyone jumped up and down and waited for him to start strumming.

E from Dogwood asked everyone to come with him because he built a special spot with "camp sticks." It was a "campfire!"

J & L picked up some sticks and kept the beat while Mr. James strummed "twinkle twinkle little star."

It was a lovely day at the forest listening to Mr. James play some of their favorite songs.

Day 2 Pine Room Fun!

For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.

Today was “the most amazing day” according to one friend! Thanks to PAT for leaving the glow party up for us! We also started working on a project that combines letters and numbers, it’s called a graph.

Not a Box!

Good  morning! Today, Ms. Kim is going to show you what she did with a box she found at home. She demonstrates using the core words and even has a special guest to help her with the video. Have you figured out what to do with a box you have at your house? What did you make? What can you make?  We are loving all of the different things some of you have made out of boxes! Keep those creative ideas flowing!!
