Rain Suits Are Here!

We are so happy to have rain suits that were gifted by PTO! Seriously, these are so great for the kids to continue to play outside, even on the rainiest or mudiest of days. Today, they all got to test them out while running in the forest.

Today was so fun getting to test out the new gear. The kids really liked being able to wear something different and throw on some rain boots. Besides the sweat rolling down their heads from playing so hard, they stayed dry!

Oh, and in terms of the pine cone experiment... just another failed pinterest activity 😞

Day 2 Pine Room Fun!

For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.

Creek Time

Happy Tuesday! We spent our entire afternoon out at Larson Park! It was definitely a hot one so when the kids heard we were going to get to play in the creek, they screamed in excitement. Not everyone wanted to stomp around in the shallow water and that was a-okay. Such a fun afternoon splashing around, exploring, and doing a great job sticking together as a class!

Celebration!

Happy Monday! Today we started something new before dismissing to go home. Instead of reading a book or shaking our sillies out, we are going to start celebrating our successes for the day! We start off by dancing to Kool & The Gang's "Celebration" and then move into talking about something to celebrate that happened at school. Because it was the first day, it was a little difficult to think of something to celebrate. I imagine by Thursday the ideas will be flowing! Enjoy the dance party from today's first celebration!
