Color Hunt

This afternoon the boys took a walk around the block with the boys in Dogwood. They did a scavenger hunt of sorts looking for different colors around the neighborhood. With enthusiasm, they were able to find all kinds of different things! As soon as we stepped out the door both boys were pointing and commenting on all of the different colors they saw on every day objects.

We are once again so grateful for the community we go to school in! We have so much access to all kinds of different experiences that it is easy to take advantage of no matter the day.

Day 2 Pine Room Fun!

For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.

Today was “the most amazing day” according to one friend! Thanks to PAT for leaving the glow party up for us! We also started working on a project that combines letters and numbers, it’s called a graph.

Not a Box!

Good  morning! Today, Ms. Kim is going to show you what she did with a box she found at home. She demonstrates using the core words and even has a special guest to help her with the video. Have you figured out what to do with a box you have at your house? What did you make? What can you make?  We are loving all of the different things some of you have made out of boxes! Keep those creative ideas flowing!!
