Guitar in the Forest

About a month ago Mr. James visited both Pine and Dogwood in the forest. He brought his guitar and played some of our favorite songs that day. Well, we were once again graced with Mr. James presence, BUT this time the kids got to help play some songs! Everyone enjoyed being able to strum along as Mr. James changed chords. They followed his directions as they waited patiently in line to take turns strumming one at a time. It was such a nice way to spice up a regular day at the forest. Music and nature are powerful!

Day 2 Pine Room Fun!

For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.

Today was “the most amazing day” according to one friend! Thanks to PAT for leaving the glow party up for us! We also started working on a project that combines letters and numbers, it’s called a graph.

Not a Box!

Good  morning! Today, Ms. Kim is going to show you what she did with a box she found at home. She demonstrates using the core words and even has a special guest to help her with the video. Have you figured out what to do with a box you have at your house? What did you make? What can you make?  We are loving all of the different things some of you have made out of boxes! Keep those creative ideas flowing!!
