Forts!

This afternoon we took the opportunity to play some different games within the fort the kids help build. The best part about the fort for these guys is typically being able to use the flashlight, but today that only lasted for a few minutes before they wanted the whole fort lit up!

L thought that if we used the overhead projector as a light, everyone would be able to see! It was a great idea! From there, the kids weren't really sure what to do. We came up with a short list of ways we could play in the fort until they finally landed on puzzles This was by far the calmest part of our day... Who knew building a fort would get everyone that excited! Can't wait to make s'mores tomorrow!

Day 2 Pine Room Fun!

For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.

Today was “the most amazing day” according to one friend! Thanks to PAT for leaving the glow party up for us! We also started working on a project that combines letters and numbers, it’s called a graph.

Not a Box!

Good  morning! Today, Ms. Kim is going to show you what she did with a box she found at home. She demonstrates using the core words and even has a special guest to help her with the video. Have you figured out what to do with a box you have at your house? What did you make? What can you make?  We are loving all of the different things some of you have made out of boxes! Keep those creative ideas flowing!!
