Snowy Stroll

Snow is quite exciting! We waited until the very end of our day to play out and the snow and I think that was best for everyone because as soon as we stepped outside the kids went crazy! They loved being able to form the snow in their hands and throw it around. They giggled with excitement at the possibility of building a snowman, going sledding, and having a snowball fight!

We went on a walk instead due to the lack of time and the temperature drop. Along our walk the kids pointed out all of the different paw prints, footprints, and snowy covered trees. It was so fun to have a different experience on our walks. I am so glad we got to get some fresh winter air today!

Day 2 Pine Room Fun!

For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.

Today was “the most amazing day” according to one friend! Thanks to PAT for leaving the glow party up for us! We also started working on a project that combines letters and numbers, it’s called a graph.

Not a Box!

Good  morning! Today, Ms. Kim is going to show you what she did with a box she found at home. She demonstrates using the core words and even has a special guest to help her with the video. Have you figured out what to do with a box you have at your house? What did you make? What can you make?  We are loving all of the different things some of you have made out of boxes! Keep those creative ideas flowing!!
