"You Got a Perfect 10!"

The kids were back at it with their gymnastics routines this afternoon, but today they decided it would be fun to score each other on their routines. I was hesitant about this game starting because sometimes "winning" and "losing" becomes a hard concept to understand and often ends up in a tearful experience. Thankfully, J &  O weren't too worried about winning or losing or not receiving a "10" for a score. Instead they were more focused on writing the numbers and showing off their cool moves. Each child took the time to dance or jump across the beam and stick the landing to receive the sore of a "perfect 10!"

It was really fun to watch them give each other scores, practice writing numbers, and cheer each other on just like they watched the other gymnasts do in the videos we have been watching. Just one more way we are trying to build some teamwork! So fun!

Day 2 Pine Room Fun!

For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.

Happy First Day of School 24-25!

Welcome Pine Families to our 24-25 school year! We are so happy to have your kiddos back in our room. It is so amazing to see how much they have grown physically AND socially, emotionally, and academically!

Welcome back!!

I hope you all enjoyed your long break together. We are back at it with our same centers and focus words UP and DOWN. This will be the last week for our current activities and will change it up for the last 2 weeks before our next BIG break. Only 12 days left together for the year and we are counting down!  Please help us celebrate:  Pine’s Friendsgiving Feast! Your kiddos have been hard at work filling each other's buckets through acts of kindness. They earned a special celebration before the Thanksgiving break but we held off our celebration so all friends could participate. Today we read a book called Feast for 10 and were inspired by some ingredients. If you would like to help us celebrate our friendship and donate to our feast, we would love it! Our plan is to celebrate on Thursday Dec 5th. Thanks :) https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Zu9-130U8W6xGWiNsdlLMXYA9q8yOASwtSEybrST3Rc/edit?usp=sharing
