Climbing in the Forest

The forest is such an appealing place because of the fresh air, room to run, and being able to CLIMB! The kids look forward to getting to the forest week to week to try out their best climbing skills. Since the start of school, they have really shown a great deal of bravery and courage as they test out new spots in the forest to climb around. The video below highlights some of those riskier climbs as well as the different strategies they use to get from one end of the log to the other. So good!

Day 2 Pine Room Fun!

For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.

Today was “the most amazing day” according to one friend! Thanks to PAT for leaving the glow party up for us! We also started working on a project that combines letters and numbers, it’s called a graph.

Not a Box!

Good morning! Today, Ms. Kim is going to show you what she did with a box she found at home. She demonstrates using the core words and even has a special guest to help her with the video. Have you figured out what to do with a box you have at your house? What did you make? What can you make? We are loving all of the different things some of you have made out of boxes! Keep those creative ideas flowing!!
