Roasting Marshmallows

The camping continues! It has really been fun to observe the campsite play these last few days. The kids have been so responsive to one another and have talked about a range of pretend play involving camping. Today, it was imperative to roast marshmallows around the "campfire."

"We need sticks!"

"Yeah, and marshmallows because we have to roast them on the fire!"
"Make sure they don't burn!"
"Ah! They might fall in the fire!"

They have come up with all kinds of things to do at the campsite, tomorrow- fishing!

Day 2 Pine Room Fun!

For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.

Today was “the most amazing day” according to one friend! Thanks to PAT for leaving the glow party up for us! We also started working on a project that combines letters and numbers, it’s called a graph.

Not a Box!

Good  morning! Today, Ms. Kim is going to show you what she did with a box she found at home. She demonstrates using the core words and even has a special guest to help her with the video. Have you figured out what to do with a box you have at your house? What did you make? What can you make?  We are loving all of the different things some of you have made out of boxes! Keep those creative ideas flowing!!
