Musical Monday!

Happy Monday and welcome back! This week are celebrating Week of the Young Child and we have quite the lineup of fun stuff planned. Today, we celebrated by participating in Musical Monday! Our kids took some time this afternoon to create some of their own instruments. It was so great. They worked tirelessly to try and create drums, shakers, and a flute! The kids worked on these during their arrival time and then got to show them off at the meeting. Tget quickly determined they wanted to create a band outside. A great idea! All of our instruments made it outside and both classes began banging and clanging for the rest of the afternoon.

 Today was “the most amazing day” according to one friend! Thanks to PAT for leaving the glow party up for us! We also started working on a project that combines letters and numbers, it’s called a graph.

Not a Box!

Good  morning! Today, Ms. Kim is going to show you what she did with a box she found at home. She demonstrates using the core words and even has a special guest to help her with the video. Have you figured out what to do with a box you have at your house? What did you make? What can you make?  We are loving all of the different things some of you have made out of boxes! Keep those creative ideas flowing!!
