Taking Turns

Thursdays have become by far our hardest days at school. It comes to no surprise, especially this time of year! Every Thursday we typically have to review rules and expectations quite a lot. After a little chat about keeping our hands and feet to ourselves, using kind words, and listening to one another the kids were ready to get to playing outside with these expectations fresh in their memories. They did great! Once we got outside all 5 of the Pine kids lined up to partake in a little turn taking game with bean bags!

"We have to stand in a line!"

"Yeah and take turns."
"If you miss your first shot, you can try again."

"Okay!"

"Let's all get a bean bag!"

The game lasted about 10 minutes with everyone happily playing alongside one another. A great way to end the week.

Have a great weekend!

Day 2 Pine Room Fun!

For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.

Today was “the most amazing day” according to one friend! Thanks to PAT for leaving the glow party up for us! We also started working on a project that combines letters and numbers, it’s called a graph.

Not a Box!

Good  morning! Today, Ms. Kim is going to show you what she did with a box she found at home. She demonstrates using the core words and even has a special guest to help her with the video. Have you figured out what to do with a box you have at your house? What did you make? What can you make?  We are loving all of the different things some of you have made out of boxes! Keep those creative ideas flowing!!
