Tuesday Fun

Hello Pine families! We continued to explore our new centers. We are using our imagination building with blocks and playing with people. We also made some more silly faces out of playdough. We have been working hard learning how to write our names and today we counted some of our nature treasures. Our Pine Family helped decorate a gift for Custodian's Day to say "thank you" for keeping our school clean! Our friends thought it would be fun to play a guessing game (Charades) where one friend would act out an animal and another friend would guess. Everyone did a great time taking turns and had fun being silly getting to pretend to be animals. On the playscape we got to keep using our imaginations and played with our Dogwood friends, pretending to be butterflies, explorers and even McDonald's employees. During our group time we discussed how our Go/Stop colors of Green & Red can translate into choices we make. We paired the thumbs up with green for keep going with that choice and thumbs down with red for stop and lets make a different choice. After reading a book about red and green choices friends had to identify different scenarios as green/thumbs up or red/thumbs down. We discussed why each one was red or green. We certainly are becoming a kind and hardworking family that sticks together and has lots of fun!

Day 2 Pine Room Fun!

For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.
