Monday's Moments

 Good Afternoon Pine PM Families!

We had a blast together today! Our friends noticed some special decorations around the room.

We had something new at sign in today, check it out, we were working on patterns.

For centers/choice time, at the table we had painting with mini pumpkins

At the table we also had a Halloween sensory tub with some fun things hiding that we had to dig for.

At carpet, we had a pumpkin that we got to hammer golf tees into. We made sure to stick together and make safe choices/no hurts. We did a great job taking turns and sharing.

At the light table, we have some cool color viewers.

Our friend Ms. Kari came to play a game with us! We have to work hard using our listening ears

We voted and decided to play inside today in the Collaboratory!

At the library we still have books about things that GO/STOP, but also some new Fall books and Halloween stories.

Day 2 Pine Room Fun!

For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.

S, who seemed to display a high level of confidence, took a hold of the branch as R handed it to her. She took a deep breath and jumped off the log.  S swung with grace over the ground.  The others watched in awe and quickly lined up to take turns.  Each friend took a different approach and not always quite sure on how to get the same kind of lift and swing S did. W seemed unsure on the whole activity, but was willing to try. He couldn't quite get the desired swinging motion and lost interest after his first try.  L saw how the others were swinging and although a little scared, decided to try several times in a row be...

Creek Time

Happy Tuesday! We spent our entire afternoon out at Larson Park! It was definitely a hot one so when the kids heard we were going to get to play in the creek, they screamed in excitement. Not everyone wanted to stomp around in the shallow water and that was a-okay. Such a fun afternoon splashing around, exploring, and doing a great job sticking together as a class!
