Happy Monday Pine Family! Today we started on a new adventure. We are learning the magic (opposite) words of IN and OUT. Our good question word is Who? For our social skills center we are playing a game called Alphabet Island where they pick a card, identify the letter, find the match and then put it IN the shark. For our motor center we had to put a snowball IN the spoon, walk the balance beam, and put it IN the snowman. For our sensory center, we went on a scavenger hunt IN the sensory table, where we had to find letters hiding IN the rice, take them OUT and see if they are letters IN our name. We had gross motor time in the gym. We celebrated our friend Arin's birthday by singing and letting him decorate his tree cookie.

Day 2 Pine Room Fun!

For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.

Today was “the most amazing day” according to one friend! Thanks to PAT for leaving the glow party up for us! We also started working on a project that combines letters and numbers, it’s called a graph.

Not a Box!

Good  morning! Today, Ms. Kim is going to show you what she did with a box she found at home. She demonstrates using the core words and even has a special guest to help her with the video. Have you figured out what to do with a box you have at your house? What did you make? What can you make?  We are loving all of the different things some of you have made out of boxes! Keep those creative ideas flowing!!
