Welcome February!

Good Afternoon Pine Families! We had a blast today playing and learning together with our small group that was here. Our activities continued to center around our magic words IN and OUT as we explored playdough, food, and Pop the Pig game. At group time we read a new book, There was an Little Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly! by Lucille Colandro. Everyone got to help tell the story. Try asking your kiddo, "WHO was in the book?" We wanted to go outside for gross motor time as the temperature is pretty nice for Winter but unfortunately it started raining so we had to go with the flow and play in the gym. For snack we ate graham crackers and oranges, yummy.

I know there are rumors of snow....maybe we will see you tomorrow, maybe we won't. If we don't see you, have fun in the snow and stay safe and warm!

Day 2 Pine Room Fun!

For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.

Today was “the most amazing day” according to one friend! Thanks to PAT for leaving the glow party up for us! We also started working on a project that combines letters and numbers, it’s called a graph.

Not a Box!

Good  morning! Today, Ms. Kim is going to show you what she did with a box she found at home. She demonstrates using the core words and even has a special guest to help her with the video. Have you figured out what to do with a box you have at your house? What did you make? What can you make?  We are loving all of the different things some of you have made out of boxes! Keep those creative ideas flowing!!
