Tuesday!

Pine PM had a great time today. We extended our sign-in activity by using the eggs we colored yesterday and to find the right color combinations with real (plastic) eggs and arrange them correctly in the egg carton. Throughout our day we practiced our magic words HEAR, LISTEN and WHAT? We munched on goldfish and orange slices for snack. We ended up having gross motor time in the gym due to our schedule demands, but we hope to get out for a walk soon to drop our package in the mail. (We made some wish you well cards for our teacher friend Ms. Nicki in Magnolia who had surgery). To end our day we met at the carpet and voted on a Spring story. Challenge your kiddo to name a food from the book The Surprise Garden.

Day 2 Pine Room Fun!

For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.

Today was “the most amazing day” according to one friend! Thanks to PAT for leaving the glow party up for us! We also started working on a project that combines letters and numbers, it’s called a graph.

Not a Box!

Good  morning! Today, Ms. Kim is going to show you what she did with a box she found at home. She demonstrates using the core words and even has a special guest to help her with the video. Have you figured out what to do with a box you have at your house? What did you make? What can you make?  We are loving all of the different things some of you have made out of boxes! Keep those creative ideas flowing!!
