Welcome May

Hello Pine PM Families and Welcome to the month of MAY! It is the last 4 weeks of school and we will finish out our year strong. We are going to be reviewing old magic words but will continue to enjoy some new centers. At the table we are working on some social skills while playing The Very Hungry Caterpillar game. At the carpet, we explored the wind tunnel and things that fly and some students created a challenge to get the items in the basket.  The sensory table still contained sand but we added some new ocean related items! (ask your kiddo WHAT new things there) It was forest day today and we just missed the rain! I know allergies are really picking on some of our friends and we appreciate the troopers that they are so we will do our best to help with the snot and coughs of our kiddos. Also, ask your kiddo what animal we have in our classroom that we will be watching and studying!

Day 2 Pine Room Fun!

For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.

Today was “the most amazing day” according to one friend! Thanks to PAT for leaving the glow party up for us! We also started working on a project that combines letters and numbers, it’s called a graph.

Not a Box!

Good  morning! Today, Ms. Kim is going to show you what she did with a box she found at home. She demonstrates using the core words and even has a special guest to help her with the video. Have you figured out what to do with a box you have at your house? What did you make? What can you make?  We are loving all of the different things some of you have made out of boxes! Keep those creative ideas flowing!!
