Welcome back

Welcome back Pine Family! We hope you had a great holiday weekend but glad you are back with us. This week may be a short week but we will pack it with lots of fun. We are really settling in to our flow of the day and our visual schedule is helping friends become comfortable with what to expect. We changed up our activities in class to allow for some new experiences. Our friend Ms. Julie joined us today and she brought a fun fine motor/sensory activity with her.  For the rest of the week, friends will get a sensory/fine motor experience in the sensory table. We changed out our dramatic play area from a kitchen to an office. Here friends can explore different pieces of equipment and pretend to go to work, be a teacher, etc. Lastly, we included another sensory/fine motor experience with playdough where friends can create, squish, and put in/take out items. Ms. Julie also did some great music and movement with us to help our bodies practice control.

Creek Time

  Happy Tuesday! We spent our entire afternoon out at Larson Park! It was definitely a hot one so when the kids heard we were going to get to play in the creek, they screamed in excitement. Not everyone wanted to stomp around in the shallow water and that was a-okay. Such a fun afternoon splashing around, exploring, and doing a great job sticking together as a class!

Our week ends

 Happy Thursday Pine Family! Today we wrapped up with our magic words GET and WHAT and our centers. Next week will be brand new, maybe you can try to guess what we might be learning! Since it was very muddy on the hillside we did gross motor time inside and had fun exploring together in the gym. While we played, we also worked on our beautiful class project for the auction, hope you will all come bid on it! Can your kiddo remember how many friends we wished well today? Can they remember their names? We ended our day with story time and our "What filled your bucket today?" Have a great weekend!
