week 14 has arrived

We are thankful to start our week 14 off with some fun! We continued to explore our beans in the sensory table and buying our groceries at the grocery store. For our 3rd activity we talked about Polar animals and made homes, zoo, etc. for them.

Remember tomorrow is the last day of the week this week as we are closed Wed-Fri for the Thanksgiving holiday. We are hosting a parent pop in from 2:45-3:15.

A little fun fact: a parent informed me today that they discovered special times for children with special needs that you can sign up for to visit Santa at the mall if. She took a deep breath and jumped off the log.  S swung with grace over the ground.  The others watched in awe and quickly lined up to take turns.  Each friend took a different approach and not always quite sure on how to get the same kind of lift and swing S did. W seemed unsure on the whole activity, but was willing to try. He couldn't quite get the desired swinging motion and lost interest after his first try.  L saw how the others were swinging and although a little scared, decided to try several times in a row be...

Creek Time

Happy Tuesday! We spent our entire afternoon out at Larson Park! It was definitely a hot one so when the kids heard we were going to get to play in the creek, they screamed in excitement. Not everyone wanted to stomp around in the shallow water and that was a-okay. Such a fun afternoon splashing around, exploring, and doing a great job sticking together as a class!
