WELCOME BACK!!!!

Welcome back Pine Friends and Families! I hope you all enjoyed your spring break. It was great to see so many smiling faces today 😄 We had a wonderful day even though we haven't been in school for a whole week! This week we are continuing to have some fun with the words mix and pour in the kitchen. Friends are really enjoying making our Pine house, making sure that each space/room has exactly what it needs. Today they focused on adding "shows/movies" to our TV.  We used foam blocks to construct homes for animals; ask your kiddo if they remember if they were farm or zoo animals. In the sensory table we had some spring items including faux grass, birds, and eggs which could be sorted by color, size, etc. Some friends noticed letters on the eggs and worked on matching them and finding letters in their names.

Day 2 Pine Room Fun!

For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.

Today was “the most amazing day” according to one friend! Thanks to PAT for leaving the glow party up for us! We also started working on a project that combines letters and numbers, it’s called a graph.

Not a Box!

Good  morning! Today, Ms. Kim is going to show you what she did with a box she found at home. She demonstrates using the core words and even has a special guest to help her with the video. Have you figured out what to do with a box you have at your house? What did you make? What can you make?  We are loving all of the different things some of you have made out of boxes! Keep those creative ideas flowing!!
