Hello week 4

Happy Monday Pine Friends! I am so glad to see all of your smiling faces come through our door today. We are continuing on with our STOP and GO invitations at centers but have changed our word of the week to HELP! This is an important word that we will practice signing with our hands, identifying on our picture board, reading in books, and using throughout our days at school! We also introduced a new arrival activity to help us learn letters and how they look in our name. Today our goal was to find the letter tiles that matched the letters in our first name.

Tomorrow is our first day to the forest. Please try to apply sunscreen and bug spray before school. Also make sure to wear clothes that can get dirty and your rubber boots if you have them!

Thursday is picture day!

Day 2 Pine Room Fun!

For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.

Today was “the most amazing day” according to one friend! Thanks to PAT for leaving the glow party up for us! We also started working on a project that combines letters and numbers, it’s called a graph.

Not a Box!

Good  morning! Today, Ms. Kim is going to show you what she did with a box she found at home. She demonstrates using the core words and even has a special guest to help her with the video. Have you figured out what to do with a box you have at your house? What did you make? What can you make?  We are loving all of the different things some of you have made out of boxes! Keep those creative ideas flowing!!
