Welcome week 3

Hello and welcome back from the long holiday weekend. This week we will continue to practice our words GO and STOP but will be exploring some new invitations during centers. Friends have expressed interest in water play so our sensory table will be open for scooping and pouring. We will expand on go and stop with cars and balls on roads and ramps. Today was our first visit to the forest this year! We noticed that there is a mulched path that winds through vegetation for pollinators and a large tree that has fallen down. It can be very “buggy” in the forest and on the playscape so feel free to spray your child before school or send in spray for us to use.

Day 2 Pine Room Fun!

For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.

Today was “the most amazing day” according to one friend! Thanks to PAT for leaving the glow party up for us! We also started working on a project that combines letters and numbers, it’s called a graph.

Not a Box!

Good  morning! Today, Ms. Kim is going to show you what she did with a box she found at home. She demonstrates using the core words and even has a special guest to help her with the video. Have you figured out what to do with a box you have at your house? What did you make? What can you make?  We are loving all of the different things some of you have made out of boxes! Keep those creative ideas flowing!!
