Happy Monday!

Welcome to week # 8! We are kicking this week off exploring some different interests.  We have enjoyed watching the birds on our feeder on our window so we decided to bring that learning inside! Our small world is open where we have birds and items birds may need to make a nest. Because this has been such an interest, if you would like to visit our classroom registry and support our learning, the kids would love it! https://www.amazon.com/registries/gl/guest-view/1P7P8HJ000BO7

Part of our social emotional learning is discussing how we can take care of ourselves and others, as well as exploring and understanding feelings. We decided to promote taking care of each other by creating a doctor's office where friends can explore the many ways doctors help take care of us.

Fall colors and interest in bugs inspired our new sensory table exploration.

Our words of the week are OPEN and CLOSE and we will explore the many ways we can use these in our everyday lives.

One of our families donated pumpkins to our class, so excited to come up with fun ideas on how to use them!

Day 2 Pine Room Fun!

For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.

Today was “the most amazing day” according to one friend! Thanks to PAT for leaving the glow party up for us! We also started working on a project that combines letters and numbers, it’s called a graph.

Not a Box!

Good  morning! Today, Ms. Kim is going to show you what she did with a box she found at home. She demonstrates using the core words and even has a special guest to help her with the video. Have you figured out what to do with a box you have at your house? What did you make? What can you make?  We are loving all of the different things some of you have made out of boxes! Keep those creative ideas flowing!!
