AFC PINE PM

Can you believe we made it through first semester?! Now it’s time to relax and have some family time. Enjoy your winter break, have a Happy Holidays, and we will see you in 2025!  We worked on our top secret project you will get to see when complete, and had a special story time, aaaaand baked cookies! Tomorrow is PJ day and we will decorate and eat our yummies!

 Only 2 more days left after today! Our school wide special event got us all to dress warm and comfy in our favorite cozy sweater and played the movie The Snowman. We joined our Magnolia and Dogwood outside where they had set up some special outdoor winter centers. We didn’t know they had also planned a special treat and were kind enough to share their hot chocolate and cookies with us! We made them Thank You cards! Tomorrow the school spirit day is to wear AFC clothes but we invite you to help us celebrate by wearing your favorite color from our color study and bring a special stuffy. We will also start our baking adventures! Thursday is PJ day and time to eat our culinary creations!

  We have 4 days this week and so much fun to cram in!  Join us in celebrating this week with the school wide special days that were posted on Brightweel. Today was hat day, Tuesday is cozy sweater day, Wednesday is AFC spirit day but we think wear your favorite color might be easier, and Thursday is PJ day.  We have some fun activities planned that I hope all will enjoy. Today we started work on a top secret project, Tuesday the school is showing a special winter movie called the Snowman, Wednesday we will put our baking skills to the test making cookies, and Thursday we will have fun decorating and munching on our yummy creations. Our focus in class will still be on the words LOOK and SEE and invitations including water exploration, running a bakery shop, and outdoor life in the winter.
