2024 is slipping away…

  We have 4 days this week and so much fun to cram in! 

Join us in celebrating this week with the school wide special days that were posted on Brightweel. Today was hat day, Tuesday is cozy sweater day, Wednesday is AFC spirit day but we think wear your favorite color might be easier, and Thursday is PJ day. 

We have some fun activities planned that I hope all will enjoy. Today we started work on a top secret project, Tuesday the school is showing a special winter movie called the Snowman, Wednesday we will put our baking skills to the test making cookies, and Thursday we will have fun decorating and munching on our yummy creations.

Our focus in class will still be on the words LOOK and SEE and invitations including water exploration, running a bakery shop, and outdoor life in the winter.

Creek Time

  Happy Tuesday! We spent our entire afternoon out at Larson Park! It was definitely a hot one so when the kids heard we were going to get to play in the creek, they screamed in excitement. Not everyone wanted to stomp around in the shallow water and that was a-okay. Such a fun afternoon splashing around, exploring, and doing a great job sticking together as a class!

Celebration!

Happy Monday! Today we started something new before dismissing to go home. Instead of reading a book or shaking our sillies out, we are going to start celebrating our successes for the day! We start off by dancing to Kool & The Gang's "Celebration" and then move into talking about something to celebrate that happened at school. Because it was the first day, it was a little difficult to think of something to celebrate. I imagine by Thursday the ideas will be flowing! Enjoy the dance party from today's first celebration!
