Happy Monday

  Hi friends and welcome back for another week of fun and learning. We will continue focusing on the same core words ON and OFF. Centers have changed a little as our kitchen has gone away and converted to an office. Here kiddos can explore letters and numbers while they pretend to work at their computer, calculator, and/or phone. Friends can also write and mail correspondence using the office mailbox. Our sensory bin has an added element to help focus on sorting items.

For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.

 Today was “the most amazing day” according to one friend! Thanks to PAT for leaving the glow party up for us! We also started working on a project that combines letters and numbers, it’s called a graph.

Not a Box!

Good  morning! Today, Ms. Kim is going to show you what she did with a box she found at home. She demonstrates using the core words and even has a special guest to help her with the video. Have you figured out what to do with a box you have at your house? What did you make? What can you make?  We are loving all of the different things some of you have made out of boxes! Keep those creative ideas flowing!!
