We had MORE fun today

Today was mystery sound game! Ask your kiddo if they remember what the item was (erasers), what clues I gave to help them (makes things disappear, helps fix a mistake, can be found on a pencil) and what letter it starts with. Challenge them to tell you what else we did with the items inside (sorted) and how we did it (sorted by color), what colors (pink, orange, green, purple, blue, yellow) and (counted each color). Ask them if they remember which had the most and which had the least (pink 10 and orange 5).

We also started a discussion on what rooms make up a house and what things are found in each room. We will begin a transformation and build a house at centers!

We reviewed our ocean plan and will be moving on the phase 2 of our study!

Day 2 Pine Room Fun!

For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.

Today was “the most amazing day” according to one friend! Thanks to PAT for leaving the glow party up for us! We also started working on a project that combines letters and numbers, it’s called a graph.

Not a Box!

Good  morning! Today, Ms. Kim is going to show you what she did with a box she found at home. She demonstrates using the core words and even has a special guest to help her with the video. Have you figured out what to do with a box you have at your house? What did you make? What can you make?  We are loving all of the different things some of you have made out of boxes! Keep those creative ideas flowing!!
