1st day Fun!!!

Welcome to the Pine PM Family! Our first day together was so exciting as well all got to know each other and explore our environment. You should be very proud of your kiddo! Stay tuned for a "Meet My Friends" paper to help you learn about everyone in our class :) 

*My goal with the blog is to have a more lengthy description on Mondays (first day of the week) to give you information on what we topics, skills, items, etc. that we are exploring. I may not always have a narrative on the following days but will post pictures. (Please understand that if I, Ms. Carrie, am absent, pictures will not be posted.)

For our invitations we have our small world were we can tell stories about what our families like to do outside. In our dramatic play we are showing how we can care for others, including our baby dolls. Outside we are checking out how fun our giant snail and mud kitchen are.

Creek Time

  Happy Tuesday! We spent our entire afternoon out at Larson Park! It was definitely a hot one so when the kids heard we were going to get to play in the creek, they screamed in excitement. Not everyone wanted to stomp around in the shallow water and that was a-okay. Such a fun afternoon splashing around, exploring, and doing a great job sticking together as a class!

Sights & Sounds

F started looking through each hole. He would crouch down, take a look through, then pop back up. Friends from Magnolia ran over and started looking through too. As they looked through, they would yell, "hello!" F got an idea. He decided he was going to yell 'hello' too, but through each tunnel.  They continued to bob up and down switching between looking through each hole and yelling in it.  The group would erupt in giggles after exchanging different yells and vocalizations.  "It sounds loud when you yell in it." "You can see different parts looking in." "Yeah you have to turn it like this." The playscape provides for so many different opportunities for the kids. They were able to hear sounds much louder than they normally would and focus on other parts of outside looking into the narrow tunnel.
